Acknowledgments (Vancouver)

I am proud to welcome you to the first full edition of the Lebanese Film Festival in Canada hosted in Vancouver.

Through the power of film, we are enabling the Lebanese culture to be explored, appreciated, and understood. This year’s theme, the Phoenician alphabet, reminds us of the significant contribution of the Phoenician heritage.

I encourage the Lebanese community in Vancouver to support the film festival by embracing their roots, sparking discussion about Lebanon, and building connections with others. 

It is my pleasure to invite the Consular Corps of BC representing over 60 countries, to learn more about Lebanese people and their way of life through films.

Wishing all the organizers and volunteers a successful event and hoping to continue the tradition in Vancouver for years to come.
