Synopsis: A journey between past and present brings me back to my hometown, Roum in Jezzine, once under the rule of the South Lebanon Army. Through my lens, I revisit childhood memories and reveal the lasting traces of occupation. Today, I carried my camera not only to document, but to tell my son Karim what history books never did. Through the intersection of archive and present, the film explores the gap between generations and asks a central question: are we prisoners of our past, or its creators?
