of her late husband. Maroun Baghdadi, a legendary Lebanese filmmaker.
Their story began in 1981 during the filming of Little Wars in war-torn Beirut, where Souraya played the lead role. After the movie premiered at Cannes, they moved to Paris and started a life together. But in December 1993, Maroun died suddenly and mysteriously, just as Souraya was expecting their third child. Today, three decades later, Souraya revisits the fragments of a life once suspended through distant conversations. tender archives, and moments of introspection, a love story unfolds.
