Hay-Love Hadchiti is the founder and director of the Lebanese Film Festival in Canada and in the USA. Bridging countries and cultures through cinema, the LFFC was launched in Canada in 2017 Founded in Canada in 2017, and has since expanded across five cities, showcased more than 520 short and feature films, and catered to more than 9000 people of all ages every year.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema, Television and Radio, started her career in the television and film industry, working with independent production houses in Lebanon and the Middle East. For over a decade, she directed and produced television programs such as sitcoms, live shows, special events, drama series and documentaries.
Over the past years, Hay-Love Hadchiti has organized and participated in numerous workshops, seminars, lectures, and conferences focused on the Lebanese cinema industry. As a partner with New Dimension of the Universe, she has contributed to the production of three short films and is currently developing a special cultural exchange project connecting Lebanese and Canadian students and artists through cinema and the arts.
Leveraging her diverse skill set, Hay-Love passionately devoted her time as a volunteer, contributing her talents to enriching cultural initiatives and supporting respected organizations, including the Salvation Army, YMCA, Canadian Liver Foundation, Parkinson Foundation and Lions club.
Recognizing her exceptional impact, RBC proudly nominated Hay-Love as a woman of influence. In addition to her philanthropic endeavors, she played a pivotal role as a jury member in multiple prestigious film festivals.
Moreover, Hay-Love’s dedication extends to her advisory position on the Women Helping Empower Women (WHEW) board, exemplifying her commitment to uplifting fellow women. Beyond her humanitarian pursuits, and she is a Formula 1 race fan.
