VANCOUVER SHOUF 2024
The Board of Directors and the entire team of the Lebanese Film Festival in Canada were delighted to host a special gathering in Lebanon on August 8th at 4 PM at the Shouf Biosphere Reserve – Barouk Cedar Forest.
Â
This event united artists, supporters, and distinguished guests for an enriching day, graced by the presence of H.E. the Lebanese Minister of Information, Mr. Ziad Makari, and H.E. the Ambassador of Lebanon to Canada, Mr. Fadi Ziadeh.
In alignment with this year’s festival theme, the Shouf Biosphere Reserve generously gifted the Lebanese Film Festival in Canada a cedar tree. This tree was planted as a symbol of our shared commitment to preserving nature and heritage, while celebrating the beauty of our country.
We were honored to have everyone join us for the cedar planting ceremony, followed by a cocktail hour at AlFundok Maaser El Shouf, where we celebrated and appreciated the significance of our shared heritage.
