Alors que la structure \u00e9tait sur le point d&#039;\u00eatre achev\u00e9e, les \u00e9v\u00e9nements des ann\u00e9es 1970 la transform\u00e8rent en un \u00e9difice gigantesque, inachev\u00e9 et abandonn\u00e9 \u2013 un \u00e9l\u00e9phant blanc. Le voyage d&#039;un motard \u00e0 travers Tripoli sert de toile de fond \u00e0 l&#039;exploration de ces \u00e9v\u00e9nements du point de vue des habitants de la ville. Au fil de son parcours, la foire attire son regard. Il s&#039;approche des portes, sombre dans un \u00e9tat de d\u00e9lire et est emport\u00e9 dans un voyage sonore \u00e0 bord de l&#039;Orient-Express. Niemeyer tire une bouff\u00e9e de cigarette et se lance dans une po\u00e9sie.
